Weekend a Perth ( 3 jours)

Pour le weekend du 29 au 31 Mai on a 3 jrs off, donc on en profite avec Nico pour aller a Perth passe le bonjour a Morgane une amie du lycee hotelier qui en est a son 2eme visa et habite perth avec son copain Davide

For the weekend of 29-31 of May we have 3 days off so we're going to Perth to say hi to Morgane a friend from the catering school who is in her 2nd visa and live in Perth with Davide her boyfriend

Surprise en arrivant c'est justement un festival de jazz durant le weekend et dans Northbridge ( quartier de Perth ) on passe devant une sorte de square avec petit parc ou un écran avec scene juste en dessous a était installe pour des groupes.

Surprise while we arrive there's a jazz festival in town for the weekend and in Northbridge we're walking by a square with a little park where a screen and a stage have been installed to welcome bands.

Mais avant toute chose on va faire un tour chez Kakulas & Brother, une boutique que Mary et Jan ( sa soeur) nous ont dit d'aller pour acheter des noix/noisettes/epices.....  pas cher et on trouve de tout parait-il

But before anything we're going to kakulas&bro, a shop that Mary and Jan ( her sister) told us to go to by nuts/ spices/..... not really expensive and lots of choices

Hum je ne sais pas du tout combien de temps on y est reste, Nico évidemment avait fait le tour en 10 min et moi je crois qu'il m'a fallut 60 min de plus lol, on est repartit charge !! Noix, noisettes,amandes,noix du Bresil,cacao en poudre, noix de coco rape, lentilles, sirop de fleur de sureaux ( j'achetais le meme en Angleterre trop trop bon)......

HUm I don't know how long we've been there, of course Nico had seen everything in 10min and it took me 60 more mins lol, we left loaded ! Nuts, almonds, brazil nuts, cacao powder, coconuts grated, lentils, cordial of elderflower ( I used to buy the same in England so so good)

Bon apres l'effort le réconfort on s'est arrete pour prendre un burritos a emporter et a manger dans le parc

So after this physical effort we needed something to eat so we took some burritos to eat at the park

Et nous voila assis a Kings park entrain de manger notre burritos ( super bon en passant)

And here we are in kings park while eating our burritos ( very good)

Dans un  bar on a fait une découverte ! Un Alcotest !

ET voila on retrouve Morgane et Davide pour la soiree ! On est d'abord aller dans un bar avec un groupe qui jouait dehors ( un peu fort on avait du mal a s'entendre)

Here we go we met Morgane & Davide for the evening ! We went first to a bar with a band who was playing outside ( little loud we had trouble earring the other one)

Et en plus j'ai pris une grosse bouteille de cidre !Et comme cela faisait pas mal d'années qu'on ne s'etait pas vue avec Morgane on s'est raconte tous les derniers potins ! Et ben y'en avaient ! Et les gars pendant ce temps parlaient foot ! Ben oui la semaine d'apres il allait y avoir la finale de la ligue des champions : Barcelone VS Juventus !! Et Davide qui est Italien était évidemment pour la Juv, il nous a meme apprit a bien dire avec l'accent LA JUVE !!!

C'etait comme un Joan mais version italien !

I took a big bottle of cider ! And like it was many years that we didn't see each other we told all the gossips ! Well there was a lot ! And during this time the guys were talking about football!! cause the weekend after there was going to have the champions league final : Barcelona VS Juventus ! And Davide who was Italian was of course for the Juv, he even taught us how to say with the accent The JUVE !!

It was like Joan but in Italian way

Apres on est alle manger dans un restau malaysien ! Pour commander il suffit d'appuyer sur ce joli bouton que montre Morgane ! Et le serveur vient en moins de 2 min je crois .

After we went to eat in a Malaysian restaurant ! To order you just have to push the little button that Morgane is showing and the waiter comes in less than 2 mins I think

Bon je dois expliquer qu'avec Morgane on avait demander a la serveuse si nos plats étaient épicés et elles nous avait dit que non pas du tout ! Ben on peut dire que Morgane a dégustée ! J'etais plus chanceuse.

I have to tell you that with Morgane we asked the waitress if what we choose were spicy and she said no ! But Morgane's plates was hot and I was more lucky

Le lendemain on est alle faire un petit tour en ville tranquillou

The day after we went on a walk downtown

Et puis cela faisais plusieurs fois qu'on passait devant un restau chinois ou il y avait une queue monstre, donc on a decide d'essayer, en plus c'etait des dumplings ( J"adore)

It was several times that we passed in front of a restaurants and there was always lots of people waiting, so we decided to go there and it was a dumpings restaurant ( love it )

Le concept est simple, les serveuses passent avec des chariots de paniers et vous montrent ce qu'elles ont et vous decidez lequel vous voulez et c'est le prix varie selon le nombre de dumplings que vous avez dans le panier

The concept is simple, the waitress come with a tray full of baskets and show you what they've got, and you're choosing which one you want and the price goes with the numbers of dumplings in the basket

En sortant du restau on retourne au square et il y avait un groupe qui jouait dont on s'est installe sur des poufs

Going out of the restaurant we went back to the square and a band was playing so we sit on pillows to enjoy

Pour le soir on avait repéré une rue pleine de food truck pour le festival

For the evening we saw a street full of food truck for the festival

Comme on avait vu le film ''CHEF'' ya pas longtemps on a prit un sandwich cubana

Like we saw the movie''CHEF"" not long ago we took a cubana sandwich

Et pour le dessert une petite glace, c'etait ma premiere fois chez Ben&jerry's

And for dessert its an ice cream, it was my first time at Ben&Jerry's

Le lendemain on est alle au marche de Fremantle, un peu déçut, c'est pas comme nos marches a nous, mais on a quand meme trouve des beignets frits avec une huile speciale, je me souviens plus du tout laquelle c'etait mais c'etait cense etre mieux que la normale et ils étaient tres bons

The day after we went to the Fremantle market, little disappointed, it's not like one of our market but we found donuts fried with a special oil, don't remember which one but it was supposed to be better than normal and it was reallly good 

En partant on a vu un garage a bateau, normal non ?

While leaving we saw a boat park, normal right ?

Allez on repart chez Mary a Albany !

C'est grace a Charles et Thuy Ha que nous avons rencontre Mary, elle vendait devant sa maison des avocats de son jardin et ils sont alles lui demander si elle cherchait des gens pour travailler pour elle, ils sont partis donc nous on a continuer a travailler pour elle et elle a demande a droite a gauche pour nous trouver plus de travail

It's thanks to Charles & Thuy Ha that we met Mary, she was selling avocados just in front of her house and they went to ask her if she needed people to work in her orchid. So they left and we keep working for her and she asked around her to find us work

Faut savoir qu'on travaille dur ! On met du fumier sous les arbres ! Mais Mary prend vraiment soin de nous ! Elle nous a amener un plateau avec un cafe pour nico et une limonade fraiche avec les limes de jardin pour moi accompagne d'un gateau maison !! Que du bonheur

You should know that we're working hard ! We're putting shit under the trees ! But Mary is taking very good care of us ! She brought us a tray with coffee for Nick and a fresh lemonade with limes from the garden with a homemade cakes ! Just amazing

The day after time to continue, never had so much my hands in the shit !

Je sais je sais a la maison je jardine pas mais la c'est vraiment agréable ! La terre est riche et pas pleine de cailloux comme a Pardailhan ! L'herbe est bien verte !

I know I knoe at the house I don't gardening but here it's so nice ! The ground is rich and healthy and there's no rocks everywhere  like in Pardailhan ! And the grass is so green !

Petit dejeuner sur la terrasse, car Mary nous laisse nous garer dans son jardin et on peut utiliser sa salle de bain, cuisine etc... c'est vraiment gentil car sinon on dormait sur le parking a Emu point et on allait prendre nos douches en ville.

Breakfast on the porche, cause Mary is letting us park in her garden and we can use her toilets,shower and kitchen... It's really nice cause otherwise we would have stay in a car park in Emu point  and taking our shower downtown

Bon Nico était un peu lent avec la brouette donc Mary a demande a son beau frère un bobcat pour prendre la merde, c'est pus facile et rapide

Well Nick was a little slow with the wheelbarrow so Mary asked her brother in law a bobcat to take the shit, it's easier and faster

On va travailler donc plus beaucoup de temps pour faire le jardin alors on se met sur le filet au dessus du poulailler
we're going to start to work so no much time to work in the orchid so we're doing the net on the shook pen

C'est grace a Mary qu'on est reste autant de temps a Albany, on a pas rencontre beaucoup de personnes aussi gentilles qu'elle ! Cela fait du bien de rencontre des gens aussi généreux, et toute sa famille et comme cela !

It's thanks to Mary that we stayed so long in Albany, we didn't met so many people as nice as her ! It's nice to meet people so generous and kind, all her family is the same !
